SyncroSupply simplifies logistical processes precisely where these are complex and problematic. The system uses the intranet to issue timeframes for deliveries. Furthermore, it can manage all road truck activities in real-time and online and takes all parking and buffer zones into consideration. The software can also incorporate forklifts or conveyor belt loading capacities into the planning. This enables companies to realise global management of their external materials flow.
The system collects all the information relevant to material supply and makes this available to the user in a transparent and manageable form incorporating the use of graphical and Gantt chart displays. The control function is implemented by SyncroSupply simultaneously observing the current vehicle status, the loading point activity as well as the internal requirements. Using this information the system then co-ordinates the optimal assignment of materials to the loading points – all realised fully automatically and in real time. By using SyncroSupply, system managers can independently administer the loading point master data, the suppliers and the timeframe matrix. The system will automatically identify and resolve any conflicts that may arise within the master data. The availability of informative yearly, weekly or daily statistics enables companies to document the productivity and utilised capacities of individual areas and accurate figures allow the reliable evaluation of suppliers.
Practical and economical – time-frame notification per internet
SyncroSupply supports the internet-based assignment of time-frames to freight carriers, customers and suppliers for every delivery day. This is used to provide every supplier with an exact time at which it must deliver the materials required for the production, or to notify a particular freight carrier when it can collect its goods from the dispatch warehouse. Depending on the precise requirements, time-frames can be statically defined for longer periods, or may be flexibly reset and optimised on a daily basis. The system will monitor the situation as a whole. The freight carrier will receive an email containing a PDF file stating its particular delivery time and loading stations. A transport ID is also sent in the file in barcode format for scanning on arrival at the plant entrance.
Automatic and efficient – online management
SyncroSupply optimises all activities of incoming road trucks in real-time. Together with the time-frame defined at the outset, the system also can accommodate unforeseen events such as traffic jams or changes to the urgency status of deliveries. Following the notification of the transport ID, the system includes the incoming truck directly into the planning. Using the time-frame allocation, the system can ascertain whether the truck is on time or delayed. At the same time SyncroSupply verifies the situation at the loading point to which the truck is allocated. On the basis of the status of the vehicle and the current capacity ratio of the loading point, SyncroSupply determines the optimal sequence for all road trucks.
