The company has 350 employees at the head office in Hilden, Germany, and also offices internationally, for example marketing divisions in Spain and England. With roughly 17,000 articles this company has annual revenues of around EUR 75 million. In 1997 Wenko-Wenselaar GmbH & Co. KG built a new logistic centre in Hückelhoven, Germany, where all products for Germany are stored and managed.

With add*ONE Demand Planner, the company now possess a platform, to which most personnel in planning, key account management and from the logistic centre have access. Information is effectively brought together here and processed into reliable forecasts. All movements of goods are transferred from their SAP system to the add*ONE system in the evening. Over night, the add*ONE planning system evaluates this data together with the previously entered information and then channels back the newly compiled or changed data back to the SAP system. The SAP system receives planned instructions to be manufactured or ordered which are then firmed up for release within SAP. The newly created data can be approved by the planners in the morning or changed if deemed necessary prior to transferring back to the SAP system.
